 The Department of English SF, Fatima college organized a one-day study tour for the outgoing students to Kodaikanal.  Students cherished nature and the weather and a few composed poems on them. The tour helped them to be kindled with the aesthetic sense to enjoy the beauty of nature.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                      PROVIDENTIA

 

 An intercollegiate meet  was conducted by the department of English SF, Fatima college on 1st February 2018   Dr. Arjunan, Associate Professor of English, Mannar Thirumalai Nayakkar College, Madurai was the chief guest of the event . Students from around ten colleges participated in the events and Bishop Heber College won the overall shield.

 

                                                              PONGAL DAY 

 

Students of III BA English stole the show on Pongal day with their beautiful sarees and delicious Pongal. Here are a few excerpts of the event.

                                                                                                      INTERNSHIP

An Internship on "Introduction to Radio Jockeying and Advertising" was conducted by the department of English SF for the III  BA English students on August  22,2018.  The students learnt the nuances of radio jockeying and its techniques.  Mr.L.Sikkandhar Sultan, Senior RJ of Hello Fm 106.4 , Madurai. Students had afield visit to the Hello FM studio and certificates were given  to add credit to the student's achievement.

 BROCHURE MODELS 

Students of III BA English (shift II) created a virtual brochure as a port of the assignment for CONTENT WRITING , one  of the skill based courses in the VI Semester. The effort that students put into creating them is worth a praise.👏👏👏
